I’m a creative, so I’m always interested in trying something new and different. Such was the case when photographers decided to do a styled shoot with horses! I reached out to a good friend of mine that told me about a barn where I may be able to execute my idea. I was giddy with excitement! It didn’t take long for me to put on my thinking cap and envision what a barn, horses, and floral design in Howell would look like. 

A Dream Come True

Cross W Ranch is the name of the barn that allowed us to do a styled shoot at their location. We got really lucky because this barn isn’t open to the public for events due to city regulations. Fortunately, they were interested in letting us use their location and also their horses. 

Once we got the okay, we reached out to other vendors who would also be interested in the experience. Bakers weren’t available, but that didn’t stop us. I put on my baking hat and included my own cakes and desserts to complete the shoot. In my experience, you learn to do what you have to do for the perfect shoot. 

Floral Design and More in Howell

The styled shoot was absolutely amazing. We wanted to showcase the “blooming” feel throughout the design: from set-up to invitations. The color scheme included rose gold and featured blooming trees like the cherry blossom. With one real couple, 6 models, plus all the gorgeous horses, ponies, and chickens too – it was a win! 

Another Styled Shoot in the Books

I’m glad I was able to do floral design in Howell and I hope to do more in the future! There’s nothing like a styled shoot to get your creative juices flowing.
