I followed Simona Vigh on Instagram after someone mentioned her name to me. All I knew about her at the time was that she did amazing hair stylings and specialized with weddings. One of the techniques that she used back then and still does now is to weave fresh flowers into the brides’ hair. I loved the thought of combining the two elements, making the bride look graceful and one with the nature around her. I immediately wanted to see how my floral designs could be incorporated with her hairstyling skills in the Detroit area.

Creating Magic at a Wedding-Style Photoshoot 

I later invited Simona to the barn wedding-style photoshoot in Clarkston back in the fall of 2018. This photoshoot was huge with over 25 vendors including another hairstylist. There were plenty of couples, models, and photographers for everyone to showcase their work. The final result we ended up creating together was incredible. The photoshoot certainly made me realize how wonderful Simona and her work was. Her hairstyling skill is just so amazing. She works fast and never produces a single disappointment. We continue to work together til this day and have been creating many wonderful shoots together.

I Can Count on Simona

Upon our first time meeting with each other at the photo shoot, she gave me the biggest, warmest hug. It was such a great feeling to know from the start that we could count on one another as both professionals and friends. Ever since then, Simona has become my go-to person for any hair stylings I need done at an event. Her work, after all, is stunning. And plus, it works really well with my floral designs in the Detroit area!

Working with people I know and trust has been a wonderful part of my career. The best thing about our collaborations is that they’re all professionals in their own right, all serious about the work we do and the vision we want to create. I’m honored to work with Simona and all of the other wedding vendors I’ve met while doing a job I love so much.
