I recently had the pleasure of participating in a breathtaking styled photoshoot at The Eastern in downtown Detroit. The theme was Art Deco, and it was an incredible opportunity to work with some of the most talented vendors in the wedding industry.
The Eastern, with its unique charm and historic ambiance, provided the perfect backdrop for our shoot. The stunning venue was transformed into a scene straight out of the Roaring Twenties. The Art Deco theme was evident in every detail, from the intricate geometric designs to the lavish gold accents.
One of the highlights of the day was the amazing champagne seafood tower created by our talented chef. It was a true showstopper, combining elegance with culinary excellence. All of the vendors couldn’t help but be drawn to the stunning display, which added an extra touch of sophistication to the shoot.
I was thrilled to contribute to this project by designing the foil printing stationery. The shimmering foil details perfectly captured the glamour of the Art Deco era, adding a touch of luxury to the invitations and menus. The jewel-toned flowers complemented the stationery beautifully, creating a cohesive and visually stunning look.
Our team of vendors truly outdid themselves. From the exquisite floral arrangements to the impeccable table settings, velvet linen, color candles, every element was thoughtfully curated to bring the Art Deco theme to life. The photos captured the essence of the era, showcasing the beauty and elegance of the shoot.
Working with such a talented group of professionals was an absolute joy. It was a day filled with creativity, collaboration, and inspiration. I’m incredibly proud of the final result and can’t wait to share the photos with you all. Stay tuned for more behind-the-scenes details and stunning images from this unforgettable Art Deco photoshoot at The Eastern.
I was also given the opportunity to have my headshot taken as well as introduction inside the magazine.
If you’re dreaming of an elegant, cohesive wedding design that tells your unique love story, let’s make it happen together!
And, we also look forward to working with the amazing team from Wedding Day again in the near future.

Ching & I first worked together on one of our clients’ weddings & she did an incredible job! From her communication to her absolutely stunning florals! Afterwards she reached out to me to do a styled shoot together! She worked on getting fabulous new local wedding vendors to our venue, The Roostertail. Organizing a styled shoot takes more than most people realize but she handled everything in a professional and friendly manner! Since then I have personally reached out to her paper invitation company for two different projects!"
