What do you do when your childhood best friend asked you to plan and design her wedding? I was super excited when I heard the news because Christina and I, we have been friends for over 22+ years. We went through all the ups and downs together. Our relationship is like no others, we are very similar and very different in several ways. When it comes to ART we’re very similar and have so much in common. We both love to draw, to create and to design so it was really fun to start our very first project together, the invitation.

Christina picked her favorite color, PURPLE, then an accent color to pair with, SILVER. Then it immediately clicked as I’ve these beautiful floral embossed papers in silver color. Right the way, the creative juices just came flowing out with the great ideas and we had so much fun creating the invitation together.

As we’ve completed the invitation design and crossed it off from “to-do list”, the next project, body flowers and wedding décor. Christina’s ONLY request for her bridal bouquet were BIG and BLING so I created a cascade bouquet and added lots of jewelry. The bouquet holder was used with extra large in silver handle. I’ve to admit, just the bouquet holder itself was generous and beautiful (anything for my BFF). And for the flowers I used shades of purple roses, purple orchids, purple Limonium, purple Lisianthus, white roses and white Stephanotis (the smell of Stephanotis…). Then I added the pearl jewelry into the roses and Stephantois. The bouquet itself was heavy and weighted a ton (according to the bride); however, she loved it so much and was in tears when she saw the bouquet for the first time. As for me, I was so glad to be part of her big day and always a pleasure seeing the smile on my brides.

As for her centerpieces, Christina loves the willow tree branches so that was pretty easy as well. It was truly work of art when you have a bride who completely trusted you with your creation.

It was great seeing both my kids in the bridal party and been part of the big day. My daughter was the flower girl along with Christina’s niece. My boy was paired with Christina’s youngest niece and just look at the picture, it was surly a fun day, for everyone. I also surprised Christina with hand-made ring pillow, which embroidery with the names of bride & groom, plus their wedding date. Christina’s nephew was the ring bearer who carried the ring pillow and walked down the aisle.

I’ve to be honest that the MOST adorable couple award goes to these two! And it was truly a stunning event at Crystal Garden in Howell. Christina & Reed, may you live forever in love and may love lives forever in you. Cheers and congratulations to you both. Love you so much.

Ching & I first worked together on one of our clients’ weddings & she did an incredible job! From her communication to her absolutely stunning florals! Afterwards she reached out to me to do a styled shoot together! She worked on getting fabulous new local wedding vendors to our venue, The Roostertail. Organizing a styled shoot takes more than most people realize but she handled everything in a professional and friendly manner! Since then I have personally reached out to her paper invitation company for two different projects!"

"Thank you Ching for all your hard work when working together!
